The CARAIB simulator, developped by rearchers of the university of Liègeis capable to produce maps of the state of the planet's vegetation in 50 or 100 years time. Olive trees are at our regions's doors. 
11/19/07 Xavier Fettweis, from the Climatology and Topoclimatology Laboratory, has been studying Greenland for the past six years. He has shown that the surface ice there is melting twice as fast as previously estimated.
