Background A Doctor in sociology at the University of Liège's Faculty of Economics, Management and Social Sciences, Christophe Lejeune is interested in the articulation of human sciences and computer sciences. He combines these disciplines in two different ways. First of all, as a methodologist, he has specialised in textual analysis technologies common to the majority of human and social sciences and, in particular, to the contribution of textual analysis software. He is also the author of Cassandre, a free software package for the collaborative analysis of qualitative data (texts and images) which is hosted by SEGI, the ULg's general computer department. In addition, as a field work sociologist, he is interested in social users of information technology and in particular the Internet. It is in this framework that he has published 'Démocratie 2.0. Une histoire politique d'Internet' through Espace de Libertés publishers. Amongst other positions, he occupies research attaché posts at the Institute of Human and Social Sciences (Ulg) and at the Laboratory for the Technology of Cooperation for innovation and Organisational Change (UTT – Troyes en Champagne). He is a lecturer at the Free University of Brussels (ULB) and associate lecturer at the Ulg.
