Background
Born in 1983, Frédéric Bouhon graduated in law in 2006 and obtained a master’s degree specialising in public and administrative law in 2009. During his studies, he spent time at the Humboldt Universität in Berlin, within the framework of the European Erasmus exchange programme.
He is now researching a dissertation on German, Belgian and British electoral law.
During 2011 Bouhon carried out research for this project at the University of London.
Since October 1, 2006 he has worked as an assistant to the constitutional law department of the Liège School of Law, under the supervision of professors Jean-Claude Schlolsem (until his retirement in September 2008) and Christian Behrendt. He assists these professors with their teaching responsibilities, and edits some scientific contributions in the field of public law. He coauthored (with Christian
Behrendt) the Introduction à la Théorie générale de l'État (second edition published 2011 by Larcier) and co-edited, with Min
Reuchamps, a collective work entitled Les systèmes électoraux de la Belgique
(Bruylant, 2012).
