Background Hervé Caps gained his degree in physical sciences at the University of Liège in 2000, which was closely flowed by a DEA (Masters) in Sciences. In 2004 he became a doctor of sciences (with the congratulations of the jury), with a work entitled ‘Instabilities in fluid/granular interfaces: experimental studies. The case of single and multiple dispersed current ripples and turbulence eddies.’ Today he is a lecturer in the University of Liège’s physics department, in the area of optofluidics.
