Arnaud D'Argembeau

Background

Arnaud D’Argembeau is an associate researcher at the (F.R.S.-FNRS). He is currently carrying out his research work in the cognitive psychopathology unit of The University of Liège. He has also been a visiting researcher at the Brain and Creativity Institute of The University of Southern California (Los Angeles, United States). His researches have as a general objective to better understand the relations between memory, emotion and self-awareness. He particularly explores the cognitive mechanisms that allow us to project ourselves into the future, as well as their underlying cerebral basis. He is interested in the mechanisms for construction of personal identity and their dysfunction in Psychopathology.
