Background Awarded a degree in physics in 1996, Stéphane Dorbolo defended his doctoral thesis on superconductivity (supervised by Marcel Ausloos). In 2006 he was named an FNRS qualified researcher. An excellent experimenter he joined Professor Vandewalle’s team at the very beginning in order to develop a research laboratory on the physics of complex fluids and granular materials.
